FC Barcelona and Manchester City are coming! We celebrate the U-12 Junior Soccer World Challenge 2016!

The executive committee of U-12 Soccer World Junior Challenge 2016 (Amazing Sports Lab Japan. Co., Ltd. of Tokyo Japan, CEO Mitsuru Hamada) and Tokyo Football Federation organized the tournament U-12 Soccer World Junior Challenge 2016.

Event date: From 25th to 28th August.
Venue: From 25th to 27th August. At Verdy ground, 28th August. At Ajinomoto Field Nishigaoka

This year’s tournament we will be having as a special guest team FC Barcelona, the team which took part for 4 consecutive years, and Manchester City for the first time. From Japan, we have Tokyo U-12, who was a runner-up in the previous tournament, Tokyo Verdy Junior, and the other 9 J League’s clubs who won the qualifying round, and one regional club who has been chosen by lottery. Like every year, this time will also be a very attractive tournament.

Tournament system
Age:
Team composed with players born after January 1st of 2004.

Competition system:
The tournament will be 11v11.The clubs play the group matches, then 8 best teams go to the play off. (Direct elimination)

Duration of the match:
2 halves of 25 min. (half time 5 min)
The semifinals, third place play off and final match´s break will be 10 min.
Only the play off of the group matches will be 2 halves of 20 minutes.
