Kumamoto U-12 team, the special guest team of our tournament.
Kumamoto and near around in Kyushu had a big earthquake last April of this year. We are deeply sorry for the people who are affected by this tragedy, and their loss. We wish their quick recovery and kids in Kumamoto can play football as they used to do, with smile on their face.
Executive Committee of Junior Soccer World Challenge 2016 officially announce that we invite Kumamoto U-12 as a special guest team for our tournament.
We’ve talked to Blaze Kumamoto’s staff, the team which took part our previous tournament and asked to them what we can do for them. They explained to us that many football pitches are not in good condition to play, therefore, the players are having really difficult time.
So we’ve decided to invite Kumamoto U-12 to our tournament as a sign of solidarity.
Kumamoto U-12 will play in same group with FC Barcelona, Kawasaki Frontale U-12 and Sanfrecce Hiroshima Junior.
