About the Tournament
What is the U-12 Junior Soccer World Challenge, the Pinnacle of U-12 International Soccer?
Launched in Japan in 2013, the "U-12 Junior Soccer World Challenge" (commonly known as the "World Challenge") stands as the premier international youth soccer tournament in Asia for the U-12 generation.
Founded on the philosophy of "giving children in Japan and Asia the chance to experience world-class soccer firsthand", the tournament brings together academy teams from global powerhouse clubs every year. It is not merely a series of friendly matches, but a stage for serious, highly competitive battles where national pride is on the line, capturing the passionate attention of soccer fans around the world.
Why Join Us
Three Key Attractions

Battle Against the "Real Deal"
The greatest appeal of this tournament is the rare opportunity to play official matches against the academies of the world's most prestigious soccer clubs. FC Barcelona participates every single year, and past tournaments have featured renowned giants such as Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Juventus, and AC Milan. Players can directly experience on the pitch the world-class skills, tactics, and absolute tenacity for victory that they previously could only watch on TV.

Gateway for Future Stars
The World Challenge is a stage where future stars showcase the first glimpses of their incredible talent. Many players who competed in past tournaments are now playing professionally for top-tier teams or representing their countries on the global stage. Experiencing this "global standard" at age 12—the most formative period of a player's development—becomes an immeasurable asset for their entire soccer career.

International Exchange
Fierce rivals who battle it out on the pitch quickly become friends bound by their shared love of soccer once the final whistle blows. The experience of spending time and building relationships with top players of the same age from all corners of the globe profoundly contributes to the personal and human growth of the children.
